Patented Operation & Design - Patented dual channel, single-track headrail system allows an infinite number of panels to attach to one slim, 2 1/2'' headrail regardless of window width. The panels attach diagonally allowing a single track to be used for any window width while maintaining a constant track depth. Standard Headrail systems, as found with competitor's products, usually increase in size (width) as the number of panels increase. This provides sleek, contoured styling with minimal stackback and maximum view-through. If additional wall space permits, the Skyline can be ordered larger than the window width, so that the panels entirely clear the window opening when shade is in opened position.
Unparalleled widths and drops - Skyline boasts the largest available widths/drops in the panel track category, available up to 384'' or 32 feet wide, by 168'' or 14 feet tall.
Motorization - The only motorized panel track system on the market today, Skyline PowerGlide with Platinum™ Technology motorization can power a track up to 384'' or 32 feet. The motorization option is available as a hard-wired option to work with home automation systems, or can be plugged in to an outlet. This option features an infrared/radio frequency remote that allows you to control your Skyline, and other motorized Hunter Douglas shades in your room, at the touch of a button. With the introduction of the Hunter Douglas Platinum™ app, you can now control the perfect shade setting with a single touch from your Apple® mobile devices - iPhone®, iPad®, and iPod Touch®. The new Platinum App enables control of PowerGlide and users will experience a whole new level of personalization and controllability of Platinum App Certified motorized window coverings.

Wide Fabric Selection - Choose from a vast selection of over distinctive fashion forward fabric styles. Over 270 fabrics are available, grouped into five style categories offering varying levels of privacy and light control: screens, sheers, semi-opaque, opaque, and naturals and woven grass.
The Harmony Program™ - Allows the same fabric to be used on multiple product styles, including Skyline Gliding Window Panels, Designer Roller Shades and Designer Screen Shades. Select from over 30 fabrics found in either the Skyline, Designer Roller or Designer Screen Shades sample books, and use that same fabric to cover all the windows in your space, from large to small.
Choices Program - Provides options for mixing and matching fabrics on panels and top treatments. Choose from fabrics found in the Designer Roller + Skyline sample book, including some Designer Screen Shades fabrics. Be subtle by adding accent panels or dramatic by alternating fabric panels. Use texture, color and pattern to create a look as individual as you are.
Top It All Off - Five designer top treatment options, including the Fabric-Wrapped large cassette, sleek metal valance and fabric valance is available for whatever look meets your design needs, from contemporary to traditional.
Select Your Control Option - Most standard panel track systems feature a wand system only, to open and close your shade. In addition to the motorization option, Skyline features a cord control system for a sleek profile and to maximize functionality. A cord tensioner comes standard on all cord-operated units for the ultimate in child and pet safety. A wand control option is also available.
Smooth Operation - Interlocking bottom weights provide stability to ensure smooth operation while eliminating tangling when panels are traversed.
Panel Sizes - Skyline is available exclusively in two panel widths - 11 1/2'' and 17'', providing uniformity within a room. All Skyline shades ordered 56'' and above default to 17'', and below default to 11''. This provides window-to-window and room-to-room uniformity. With competitive panel track systems, panel width varies based on window width, which can provide lack of uniformity within an interior.
Custom-colored hardware - Available in 10 designer finishes, all hardware on the Skyline shade is coordinated with each fabric in the collection. Should you prefer a different hardware color, you may select any color at no extra charge. No other system on the market features custom colored hardware. Hardware colors are the same for Designer Roller Shades, Designer Screen Shades, and Skyline Panel s for uniformity.
Selection of Fire Retardant Fabrics (FR) - There are 9 fire retardant fabric styles in the Skyline fabric offering. These fabric collections are Berkeley, Brunswick, Continental, Exotic Hues, Morocco, Nature's Elements, New Orleans, Pima, and Sola.
Ultraviolet protection - All fabrics in the collection provide increased UV protection, reduce sun glare and provide additional energy efficiency and sound absorption in a space.
